About The Position
Aids program clients daily with the implementing of Individual Support Plans in the client’s home and community. Provides hands-on instruction to in-home client to implement Individual Support Plans and client development in the home and community. Conducts recreational and social activities with individuals, as assigned. Participates in regular staff training to develop basic knowledge and skills necessary to assist individuals. Responds appropriately to emergency situations and ensures the health and safety of the client. Other duties as required. Adheres to all policies, laws, regulations and codes of ethics and confidentiality as outlined by federal and state laws, and agency policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to receive, understand, and communicate information with effectiveness, and follow instructions.
- Must successfully obtain Criminal History Clearance from the Pennsylvania State Police and Child Abuse Clearance from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and FBI Fingerprint Clearances.
- Must not be excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid or any other federal healthcare program.
- Compliance with pre-employment and routine drug testing is required.

- Ability to move, assist and/or transfer individuals weighing up to 150 pounds may be required.
