About The Position

This role reports into the Global Wellness team. The Holistic Experience Transformation Scientist is responsible for shaping and delivering differentiated product experience strategies across the wellness portfolio, with a focus on vitamins & Minerals (VMS) and Digestive Health (DH). This role ensures that product forms, sensory attributes, and consumption experiences enhance perceived efficacy, credibility, and consumer satisfaction, bridging the gap between functional performance and consumer belief.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Food Science, Sensory Science, Consumer Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
  • Significant experience in product experience, sensory science, or formulation development within FMCG or consumer health industries.
  • Deep understanding of organoleptic properties, sensory evaluation, and consumer behavior related to product usage.
  • Proven experience translating consumer insights into product innovation and differentiated experiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in global, matrixed organizations and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of wellness categories such as multivitamins, supplements, or digestive health products is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation pipelines and create scalable platforms across markets.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and pre-develop a strategic catalogue of product forms, flavors, textures, and mouthing experiences that step-change perceived efficacy and credibility in VMS and elevate organoleptic performance in Digestive Health.
  • Identify and drive future-facing experience opportunities across formats and delivery systems to enable differentiation and innovation
  • Translate consumer, sensory, and experiential insights into differentiated experience platforms that drive compliance, repeat use, and loyalty.
  • Close the gap between functional efficacy and consumer belief through superior product experience design.
  • Act as a global experience partner to Centrum and Operating Unit (OU) Brand Development Scientists, ensuring alignment between product experience and brand promise.
  • Ensure product experiences consistently deliver the intended concept, positioning, and consumer expectations.
  • Build and implement experience design principles and benchmarks that are scalable, reusable, and adaptable across markets and formats.
  • Influence upstream concept development by embedding experience as a core driver of credibility and efficacy, not just a downstream optimization step
  • Business Expertise - Should be aware of the competitive and regulatory landscape for devices and diagnostics, and how to apply that knowledge when assessing new product opportunities and claims. Should have an external network of regulatory experts in devices.
