About The Position

Blo Blow Dry Bar is looking for a Holiday Seasonal Weekend Hair Stylist to join their team in Daly City, CA. This is a seasonal position starting the week of August 17, 2026, and ending December 31, 2026. The role offers the opportunity to earn significant extra income during the busy holiday season through a combination of hourly pay, tips, commissions, and bonuses. Many seasonal stylists are offered permanent positions after the holidays. The position involves working recurring weekly shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with specific opening and closing times. Stylists are expected to commit to their assigned weekend schedule throughout the season, and time-off requests during this period are generally not approved. Additionally, stylists must be available to work at least two of the three major holiday "Eves": Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve. The role emphasizes providing exceptional guest experiences, recommending products and services, and maintaining a positive team culture. No prior clientele is required as guests are provided by the salon.

Requirements

Current California Cosmetology License
Passion for styling, beauty, and guest service
Positive attitude with a team-first mindset
Able to commit to a recurring weekend schedule throughout the seasonal employment period, including all assigned weekend shifts unless otherwise approved before hire
Available to work at least two of the three holiday "Eves" listed above
Reliable, punctual, and excited to work during our busiest season
