About The Position

Copper Mountain Resort is seeking a Holiday Help: Lift Line Crewmember for the Winter 26/27 season. This seasonal position is responsible for directing and engaging guests effectively through our mazes to provide a positive experience at our busy base area chair lifts and gondola, while upholding a high level of enthusiasm, guest service, and pass security. The role involves facilitating efficient guest flow through lift lines, matching singles, merging lanes, and assisting with RFID gate operations. LLCs will also escort guests with pass issues to Guest Services and may assist with traffic direction at the Tubing Hill. A thorough knowledge of Copper and the ability to answer guest questions professionally are essential. The position requires promoting a fun, vacation atmosphere and acting as an ambassador for Copper Mountain, modeling the company culture and striving to exceed guest expectations.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English.
  • Able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged standing.
  • Extended periods of outdoor exposure to extreme cold.
  • Ability to handle variation in temperature from hot to cold.
  • Beginner skiing/snowboarding level.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to use mountain radio/walkie-talkies for communication.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and engage guests effectively through mazes at busy base area chair lifts and gondolas.
  • Facilitate the efficient flow of guests through the lift line.
  • Match up singles and merge Ski School and Premier Pass lanes to ensure maximum uphill chair capacity.
  • Work with RFID gate attendants to assist guests through gates and verify credentials.
  • Assist guests with pass issues by escorting them to Guest Services.
  • Provide traffic direction at the Tubing Hill when needed.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Copper Mountain and answer guest questions.
  • Interact professionally with guests and other departments.
  • Promote a fun, vacation atmosphere.
  • Act as an ambassador for Copper Mountain, modeling the company culture.
  • Strive to exceed guest expectations and create memorable experiences.
