Requirements

  • High level of customer service focus.
  • Ability to operate and understand mobile equipment.
  • Possess mechanical skills to perform maintenance tasks.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment, attention to unloading / loading trucks and moving equipment.
  • Supports a consistent professional image of the company.

  • Commitment to dependability and willingness to work to meet goals and deadlines.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Approved safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with the systems found in modern swine facilities (ventilation, feeding/watering, heating) is preferred, but willing to train.
  • Prefer experience in field service, animal husbandry or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Give customers recommendations on the best parts & equipment available at the How to Build Center with which their needs can be addressed.
  • Diagnose errors or service problems to determine proper solutions.
  • Repair/replace faulty parts & equipment in area swine facilities.
  • Cooperate and communicate with service team and shares information across the organization.
  • Ability to use tools associated with the repair of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of parts and equipment used in modern hog facilities.
  • Prior experience working with the systems found in modern swine facilities (ventilation, feeding/watering, heating) is preferred, but willing to train.
  • Other duties as assigned.
