About The Position

Utah Mammoth Media Relations Game Night Internship. Interns are expected to attend the vast majority of Utah Mammoth home games, including preseason, regular season, and playoffs. Dress code is business professional. Men are expected to wear a suit and tie, while women should plan to wear blazers with slacks, skirts, dresses, etc. Parking vouchers will be provided for one of the Gateway garages for each home game. Meals will be provided in the form of concessions vouchers, which can be used to redeem up to $20 worth of food at Delta Center.

Requirements

  • Must be available to attend the vast majority of Utah Mammoth home games, including preseason, regular season, and playoffs.
  • Must adhere to a business professional dress code (Men: suit and tie; Women: blazers with slacks, skirts, dresses, etc.).
  • Must be able to arrive three and a half hours before puck drop for each game unless notified otherwise, with exceptions made for class schedules or other important obligations.
  • Must be able to work until approximately 10:30-11:00 PM depending on game flow for postgame interviews.

Responsibilities

  • Writing/distributing single-game credentials to visiting media, opposing staff, and scouts.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for questions related to the seating chart and meal vouchers.
  • Distributing projected lines to hockey ops staff, broadcasters, media, and scouts.
  • Distributing intermission stats to both coaching staffs, hockey ops staff, broadcasters, media and scouts.
  • Distributing in-game notes to media and broadcasters.
  • Recording and transcribing postgame interviews of players and/or head coaches.
