About The Position

Case iZ is a leader in compressed air control systems, serving many Fortune 100 companies. With over 30 years of stability and a growth strategy, Case iZ is expanding its engineering team. This role will focus on new HMI application development using Rockwell FactoryTalk View ME, SE, and Optix applications. Project management experience is a plus. The position requires approximately 25% travel.

Requirements

  • 5 years of related job experience
  • Strong experience with HMI SCADA Server/Client architecture and the configuration of communication drivers, scripting functions, tag logging, and alarm management.
  • Proficient with Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI programming
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated industrial designs.
  • Efficiently organize and plan work tasks to meet company goals.
  • Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills, able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and highly motivated with good communication skills and ability to work in a high-output environment.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects.
  • Excellent driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Other HMI platforms are a plus.
  • Product Development activities.
  • Project Management experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Rockwell Optix is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide HMI and SCADA development, focusing on Rockwell's FactoryTalk applications. Experience with Rockwell Optix is a plus.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
  • Resolve operational problems related to projects and minimize delays or unexpected cost increases.
  • Responsible for project success whether project leader or as part of a project team.
  • Interpret client requirements, identify and address design parameters and engineering problems.
  • Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design, including electrical requirements and motor controls.
  • Create, test, and finalize control system designs to meet project requirements.
  • Create customer documentation such as user manuals, programming diagrams, network diagrams, and electrical drawings.
  • Commission customized products and systems onsite and at customer facilities.
  • Provide high-quality pre-sales, design-in, and post-sales technical support to the customer.
