To aid in our rapid growth and continue to differentiate our patient experience,
we’re hiring a at Contingent Histotechnologist/Histotechnician. The ideal
candidate will cover all aspects of histotechnology/accessioning for our lab
located in Troy, MI

Requirements

• BS or Associates as required by CAP
• ASCP HT or HTL
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Accessioning and data entry
• Tissue processing
• Grossing (if person meets CLIA and CAP requirements)
• Microtomy
• Embedding
• Staining including special stains
• Labeling and Filing
• Equipment Maintenance and completion of logs
• Troubleshooting and problem solving
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be reliable
• Other duties as required by supervisor
