Histotechnologist
About The Position
This position requires a minimum of 2 years of recent Histotechnologist experience. The successful candidate will have completed a formal histology technologist training program or an Associate degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences. Current ASCP Certification (HT/HLT) is required. Experience with pathology laboratory operations and Cerner is preferred. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. The schedule is Monday–Friday 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM for a 13-week contract. Candidates must be available to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
