About The Position

History Fellows work with undergraduate students in 100-level History courses to assist them with course assignments, exam preparation, and strategies for writing historical essays. Fellows may also support faculty with research and writing projects.

Requirements

• Successfully completed two 100-level survey courses in History.
• Successfully completed at least one upper-level History course.
• At least one of the 100-level courses and the upper-level course must have been taken at UST.
• Good study habits.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Enjoy mentoring others in the learning process.
• Reliable, consistently on time and present for assigned tutor hours.
• Able to work independently without a lot of supervision.
• Must be a degree-seeking undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral student at St. Thomas.
• Must be actively enrolled at least part-time in courses for credit.

Nice To Haves

• Undergraduate History major or minor.

Responsibilities
