About The Position

At TELUS Digital, we are seeking specialists with a background in History to assist AI in understanding time, culture, and heritage. The AI often makes mistakes regarding historical facts or overlooks the cultural significance of events. Your role will be to act as the 'Memory' for the AI, ensuring it communicates historical information accurately and respectfully.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in History, Archaeology, or Cultural Studies.
• Native-level proficiency in your primary language to understand your country's specific history.
• Basic (B1) English proficiency to follow project instructions.
• Completion of a subject-specific qualification exam.
• Completion of ID verification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with AI systems or in AI development.
• Familiarity with AI evaluation and fine-tuning methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated articles or summaries about historical events to ensure accuracy of dates, names, and places.
• Ensure the AI's descriptions of historical figures and events are culturally sensitive and respectful.
• Verify the AI's understanding of chronological order and cause-and-effect relationships in historical contexts.
• Provide feedback on the AI's reasoning to improve the clarity and quality of historical narratives for students and researchers.
