This is a temporary position at Hunter's Home, a historical site. The role involves bringing the agricultural and domestic programs to life through interpretation, programs, and demonstrations. The interpreter will assist with animal husbandry, farm management, and ensuring the safety of livestock and visitors. A key part of the job is learning the history of Hunter's Home and its inhabitants to provide accurate and engaging tours for visitors of all ages and abilities. The position also involves assisting with daily operations, developing and executing demonstrations and special events, and researching new programming. The interpreter will be expected to dress in 19th-century period clothing and demonstrate mid-19th-century skills. Additional duties include assisting with ticket sales.
