About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Histology Technologist to perform histological preparations consistent with the Section's Policies and Procedures to deliver quality slides to the pathologist in a timely manner. This is a full-time position with a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000. The estimated pay range for this position is $34.76 - $45.19 per hour, depending on experience. Requirements
- High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.
- Clinical Laboratory Technologist. or Clinical Laboratory Supervisor.
- Complete knowledge of Histology lab procedure including cryostat, gross room, accessioning, embedding and microtomy.
- TN – Clinical Laboratory Technologist or SU – Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license required.
- Either license must have qualification in histology technologist.
- Minimum Required Experience: 2 Years
Nice To Haves
- ASCP certification is preferred.
