A Brief Overview
PRN Position
Processes tissue samples (grossing (bx), processing, embedding, sectioning and staining slides) for histological diagnosis.
Processes tissue samples by embedding, sectioning and staining slides for histological diagnosis.
Additional Responsibilities
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.

Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in biological or chemical science and certification requirement specific in CLIA '88 to perform high complexity testing. (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree in biological or chemical science and certification requirement specific in CLIA '88 to perform high complexity testing. (Required)
• Basic computer skills (Required proficiency)
• HT HT or HT Eligible (Required)
