About The Position

This role involves the reception and preparation of patient specimens for examination, maintenance of the histology laboratory area and equipment, and accurate documentation. The Histology Technician will also monitor inventory, assist the Pathologist within the scope of practice, and perform other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of histology laboratory area, including equipment cleaning as indicated.

• Assisting Pathologist within the scope of practice for Histology Technician role/s.
• Performance of other duties as necessary or assigned.
