About The Position
This position is for a Histology Tech in a laboratory setting. The role involves processing, embedding, and microtomy. The shift is 5x8 Evenings, Monday-Friday, from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM. The facility is a Short Term Acute Care Teaching Hospital with Level 1 Trauma designation, totaling 1259 staffed beds. Charting is done via EPIC. Parking passes are available through Public Safety.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in Histology
- ASCP-CT or ASCP-HT certification
- BLS certification
- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
- Pending State License accepted
Nice To Haves
- NBSTSA and/or NCCT certification
