About The Position
This position is for a Histology Technician in a laboratory setting. The role involves processing, embedding, and microtomy. The shift is 5x8 Nights, Monday to Friday, from 2100 to 0530. This is a night shift position in a Short Term Acute Care Teaching / Level Trauma hospital with 1259 total staffed beds.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in Histology
- National Certification: ASCP-CT, ASCP-HT
- BLS certification
- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
- Pending State License accepted
- Must be able to work the night shift (2100-0530)
