About The Position

The Hispanic Community Officer serves as Generations Bank's primary representative and advocate within Hispanic communities, building relationships that strengthen financial inclusion, community engagement, and business growth. This position develops partnerships with community organizations, educates individuals and businesses on financial resources, supports CRA initiatives, and connects customers with banking solutions that help them achieve their financial goals. The role works across retail, lending, mortgage, treasury management, and marketing teams to expand the bank's presence, deepen community relationships, and create new customer opportunities. The role will also contribute to broader marketing, customer experience, and community engagement efforts as needed to support the bank's strategic objectives. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 3 or more years of banking experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Ability to perform the essential functions and physical demands as provided in the attached Full Job Description.
  • Current driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive while performing assigned duties and responsibilities.

  • Strong knowledge of the bank's products and services.
  • Proven track record of sales and relationship management.
  • Ability to confidently represent and promote the Bank's products and services in both one-on-one conversations and group presentations.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with employees across all departments and levels of the bank to achieve shared goals and deliver exceptional customer service

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Generations Bank's ambassador within Hispanic communities by building relationships with local organizations, businesses, schools, churches, and community leaders.
  • Generate new deposit, loan, mortgage, and small business opportunities by connecting community relationships to banking solutions.
  • Provide financial education and resources that help individuals, families, and businesses achieve their financial goals.
  • Partner with retail, commercial, mortgage, treasury management, and marketing teams to strengthen customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Support Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) initiatives and community development efforts within the markets we serve.
  • Represent the bank at community events, workshops, and networking opportunities, promoting Generations Bank as a trusted financial partner.
  • Maintain compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
