About The Position

Are you a results-driven recruitment professional ready to take ownership of talent acquisition for a fast-growing group of SERVPRO franchises? We are seeking an experienced Remote Hiring Specialist to oversee and elevate our entire staffing lifecycle across our six Pennsylvania franchise locations. In this role, you will partner directly with leadership to attract, screen, and place high-quality candidates in key operational, administrative, and field positions. As our hiring needs expand, this role offers significant ground-floor potential for long-term career growth as we build out a dedicated talent acquisition department.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on recruiting and hiring experience (agency, high-volume corporate, or franchise network experience preferred).
  • Must be located in or capable of working standard Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple open requisitions independently in a remote environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a polished, professional candidate-facing presence.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), modern sourcing tools, and video interview platforms.
  • Flexibility to adjust hours slightly to conduct evening or early-morning interviews when necessary for top candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Source, screen, interview, and coordinate placements for open positions across all 6 Pennsylvania locations (including technicians, project managers, office staff, and sales roles).
  • Strategic Sourcing: Utilize job boards, social media, industry networking, and proactive outreach to build a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Candidate Experience: Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing clear communication, interview preparation, and professional onboarding handoffs.
  • Hiring Manager Partnership: Collaborate closely with franchise general managers and department heads to define talent needs, refine job descriptions, and streamline hiring workflows.
  • Applicant Tracking & Reporting: Maintain accurate recruitment metrics, track candidate pipelines, and optimize conversion rates from initial contact to placement.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in building and standardizing hiring processes, interview scorecards, and talent strategies for future organizational scaling.
