About The Position

The Hiring Our Heroes Fellowship (12-week program) in Strategy & Transaction at Deloitte offers transitioning military members the opportunity to leverage their military professional experience and transfer their skills to the corporate world. Fellows will immerse themselves in the Strategy & Transactions practice, gaining exposure to industry leaders and addressing complex client challenges. The program includes a Deloitte-designed learning experience to prepare fellows for a client service environment, with integrated project shadowing. Upon successful completion, fellows may be considered for full-time roles. The Strategy & Transactions team guides clients through critical moments and transformational initiatives, providing end-to-end support and advisory services in areas such as valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. They work with clients at every stage to navigate challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and implement practical solutions for lasting impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Active Duty members in the US Armed Forces with authorization to participate in a DoD SkillBridge program by their respective command
• Enrolled in Hiring Our Heroes foundation and eligible to participate in the fellowship program
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
• Hands-on experience using Excel and PowerPoint
• Prior exposure to consulting, organizational strategy, finance/banking or transaction environment

Responsibilities
