About The Position

The Hiring Our Heroes Fellowship (12-week Remote Program) in Strategy & Transaction at Deloitte offers transitioning military members the opportunity to leverage their professional experience and transfer their skills to the corporate world. Fellows will immerse themselves in the Strategy & Transactions practice, gaining exposure to industry leaders and addressing complex client challenges. The program includes a Deloitte-designed learning experience to prepare fellows for a client service environment, with integrated project shadowing. Upon successful completion, fellows may be considered for full-time roles.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
Active Duty members in the US Armed Forces with authorization to participate in a DoD SkillBridge program by their respective command
Enrolled in Hiring Our Heroes foundation and eligible to participate in the fellowship program
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Nice To Haves

Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
Hands-on experience using Excel and PowerPoint
Prior exposure to consulting, organizational strategy, finance/banking or transaction environment

Responsibilities

Gain exposure to the work of industry leaders as they address complex challenges for clients.
Participate in a 12-week fellowship program while remaining employed by the Military.
Receive a Deloitte-designed learning experience to prepare for a client service environment.
Engage in project shadowing.
Help guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives.
Offer comprehensive end-to-end support and advisory services, covering areas such as valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability.
Work closely with clients at every stage of their journey, helping them navigate challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and implement practical solutions before, during, and after major transformational projects or transactions creating lasting impact.
