About The Position

The Hiring Our Heroes Fellowship – Finance Transformation (Remote Fellowship) is a 12-week program designed for transitioning military members to leverage their professional experience and learn to transfer their skills to the corporate world. Fellows will immerse themselves in Deloitte's Finance Transformation practice, gaining exposure to industry leaders and addressing complex client challenges. The program includes a Deloitte-designed learning experience, project shadowing, and preparation for a client service environment. Upon successful completion, fellows may be considered for full-time roles. Deloitte's Government & Public Services (GPS) practice focuses on delivering impact to federal, state, and local government clients, as well as public higher education institutions. The Global Business Services offering within GPS specializes in transforming corporate functions through centralization and optimization, driving resilient, agile, and cost-effective outcomes for the CFO agenda, including ERP-enabled transformation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
Active Duty members in the US Armed Forces with authorization to participate in a DoD SkillBridge program by their respective command
Enrolled in Hiring Our Heroes foundation and eligible to participate in the fellowship program
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Nice To Haves

1+ years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, close, or cost accounting
Experience with Momentum, OneStream, SAP FICO/PaPM, Oracle EPM/EPBCS, or Cognos TM1
Experience in requirements, configuration, integrations, testing, or data remediation
Experience in financial data mapping, reporting, and process improvement
Ability to translate finance needs into technical solutions
Top Secret security clearance
