About The Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking experienced Hip Hop Teachers to inspire and nurture young dancers at Robin Dawn Academy of Performing Arts in Cape Coral, FL. The studio focuses on providing quality instruction in a safe environment and is looking for instructors who can deliver engaging, in-person lessons. This role involves teaching a specific class on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 pm, with potential for substituting and adding more classes in the future. Robin Dawn Academy emphasizes developing important life skills in students alongside dance technique, operating under the philosophy of 'More Than Just Great Dancing!®'. The academy offers training for ages three to professional performers, fostering self-confidence, discipline, and teamwork. Ensemble Schools is a network of community-driven music and dance schools that supports its member schools and teachers.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Instructing students in hip hop across various skill levels.
Developing and implementing lesson plans for improving skills.
Choreographing dances for recitals.
Showcasing a strong background in dance through educational, teaching, and/or performing experience.
Demonstrate a genuine love for teaching and experience working with young dancers.
Provide reliable transportation and pass a routine background check.
