About The Position

Under the direction of the Performing Arts Director, this position will carry the primary responsibility for instructing classes of the highest quality and safety possible. Classes will include Hip Hop dance.

Requirements

• Must have an understanding of the program offered by the School of Performing Arts.
• Must understand the relationship of the parents and participants for the success of the overall program.
• Adhere to policies related to boundaries with youth.
• Attend required abuse risk management training.
• Adhere to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising youth.
• Report suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
• Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Instruct classes of the highest quality and administer feedback from members to Supervisor(s).
• Understand the program offered by the School of Performing Arts in order to give appropriate response to member questions.
• Understand the relationship of the parents and participants for the success of the overall program.
• Adhere to policies related to boundaries with youth.
• Attend required abuse risk management training.
• Adhere to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising youth.
• Report suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
• Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements.
