About The Position
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Hip Hop Instructor to lead after-school classes for Kindergarten to 2nd graders. This role involves teaching foundational hip hop dance techniques and fostering a love for movement and self-expression in a fun and supportive environment. The instructor will be responsible for planning and executing engaging lesson plans that align with the program's goals.
Requirements
- Experience in teaching hip hop dance.
- Experience working with young children (K-2nd grade).
- Strong understanding of hip hop dance fundamentals.
- Ability to create engaging and structured lesson plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Background check may be required.
Nice To Haves
- Formal dance training.
- Experience in curriculum development.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Teach hip hop dance classes to students in grades K-2.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
