About The Position
Welo Global is seeking Hindi interpreters for a long-term, recurring engagement in Montreal, Quebec. This role involves patient-facing medical interpretation for research studies at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health. The project requires interpreters to facilitate communication during doctor's appointments, medical studies, and discussions related to pharmacy and pharmacovigilance. Interpreters will work with a partner for full-day visits. Prior experience in a clinical or patient-facing healthcare setting is preferred, and the client will provide necessary reference materials. This position prioritizes interpreters based in Montreal to simplify scheduling and avoid travel.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and Hindi (India).
- Ability to work in Montreal, Quebec.
- Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
- Availability for approximately 15-16 patient visits, each 1-8 hours long, over the coming months.

- Prior experience in a clinical or patient-facing healthcare setting.
- Medical/healthcare interpreting background.
- Relevant interpreter certifications.
- Having a regular interpreting partner.
