About The Position
Crouse Health is hiring a temporary HIM Assistant. The position involves preparing, scanning, and indexing patient charts into the electronic medical record system, along with other duties assigned by department leadership. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pay is $19.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of medical information.
- Ability to follow directions.
Nice To Haves
- Six months to one year of experience working in medical records or a clinic setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, scan, and index patient charts into the electronic medical record system.
- Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership.
