The Richmond, Virginia Highways Team is looking for a Project/Program Manager to lead marketing, development, and management of highway/roadway projects and programs. This role involves overseeing scopes, schedules, and budgets for various project types, including standalone projects, task order programs, program management services, general engineering consultation, and innovative procurement projects like design-build and P3.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
- Marketing, developing, and managing comprehensive project objectives for highway/roadway projects and programs.
- Developing and managing scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitoring schedules, budgets, accounts receivable, and manpower requirements.
- Directing the preparation of invoices.
- Developing Project Management plans for assigned projects.
- Establishing project pricing and budgets.
- Creating and maintaining project schedules.
- Developing and maintaining project-specific quality plans.
- Managing subconsultants.
- Managing the assignment of projects and tasks.
- Leading or participating in client meetings and presentations.
- Overseeing and managing assigned staff working on projects.
- Managing all technical resources on the project team.
- Assisting with production tasks as required for client submittals and deliverables (CADD drawings, reports, graphics/renderings, etc.).
- Developing extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposals.
- Coordinating and assisting Section Heads, Office Managers, and Practice Leaders with marketing proposals.
- Identifying and monitoring long-term program management and major project pursuits.
- Assisting management in decisions relating to investing in program management pursuits.
- Assembling and leading teams for pursuits of projects and programs.
- Mentoring/training less experienced staff.
- Providing quality control reviews of submittals and deliverables.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
