We are seeking a Senior Highway Project Manager to join our Orlando or Tampa, FL office. Your role will involve leading project teams using technical and project management skills. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling project tasks, including financial management and marketing support. Additionally, you will mentor and train team members, negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors, and draft service agreements. Ensuring compliance with contract terms and monitoring subcontractor performance are key aspects of this role. You will prepare and share project plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets with the team, track project progress, costs, and expenses, and report to senior management. Maintaining accurate project account files and reviewing reports, managing client billings, assisting with payment collection, and resolving disputes are also part of your responsibilities. You will oversee subconsultant progress, approve invoices, and resolve payment issues. Scheduling and coordinating project meetings with all stakeholders and reporting project financial status to technical managers are essential. Furthermore, you will identify new business opportunities, participate in project presentations, and promote the firm's services. Participation in project evaluations, consultant selection, and preparation of qualification statements are expected. You will supervise technical professionals, associate project managers, and design staff.
