About The Position

We are seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrician to install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair high voltage electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring electrical systems operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with applicable codes and safety standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
3–5+ years of high voltage electrical experience
Strong knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution, and electrical safety
Experience with high voltage testing and diagnostic equipment, including megohmmeters, hi-pot testers, multimeters, and relay test equipment
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical specifications
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in indoor/outdoor environments

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, test, and repair high voltage systems, including switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, and distribution equipment
Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform diagnostics using specialized testing equipment
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
Perform electrical testing and verify components operate as specified
Execute switching procedures and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements
Inspect systems, identify faults, and implement corrective actions
Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and work performed
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other departments
Follow all applicable electrical codes, OSHA requirements, and safety procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
