About The Position

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services. This role focuses on executing high throughput process development (HTPD) experiments with BSL-1 and BSL-2 biological agents and viruses. The engineer will operate and maintain laboratory automation equipment, perform analytical testing, prepare reagents, analyze data, and maintain records following GMP.

Requirements

Automation experience with TECAN and Hamilton systems, including with coding/scripting.
Completed bachelors in Bio/chemical Engineering, or related engineering concentration.
One year of general lab experience with mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays and aseptic technique.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Execute high throughput process development (HTPD) experiments with BSL-1 and BSL-2 biological agents and viruses.
Operate and maintain laboratory automation equipment (Tecan, Hamilton) to support HTPD screening experiments.
Perform analytical testing, including cell-based assays, biochemical testing, and/or HPLC to support HTPD experiments.
Participate in development of new assays as needed.
Prepare laboratory reagents, solutions and culture media.
Analyze, collate, track, and report data back to client staff members.
Maintain records and test results following good manufacturing practices (GMP).
Work independently and efficiently.
Document work clearly and perform tests accurately.
Communicate with client staff members.
