About The Position

This role involves running production equipment at or above target metrics for waste, quality, efficiency, and utilization. The operator will troubleshoot and fine-tune machine components to correct issues, propose creative fixes that reduce downtime and stabilize output, and coach junior operators while sharing safe work practices. Responsibilities also include completing accurate shift reports, inspecting product to recognize nonconforming conditions and adjust to eliminate defects, and upholding housekeeping, standard work, and all safety procedures. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing/industrial settings operating production equipment
• Mechanical aptitude and strong analytical, problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Track record of meeting or exceeding performance standards

• Preparing machines for production runs
• Professional machine operation
