About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy, a classical homeschool academy in the Catholic tradition, is seeking a part-time High School Math teacher for the 2026-27 academic year to teach Trigonometry. The position involves teaching up to 4 hours per week in a classical and Catholic classroom setting in Phoenix, AZ, serving the West Phoenix, Central Phoenix, and West Valley areas. While formal teaching certification or experience is not required, the academy will provide all necessary training. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for the Catholic faith, be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church, and possess strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, and a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship. Tutors are trained to provide instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be provided. Mandatory training is required prior to employment, and all employees must have a clear background check. Childcare/nursery is provided. No additional vacation days are given, though accommodations are made for sick days.

Requirements
