This position is for a Career Development / Mentor Teacher with a .6 FTE (full-time equivalent) assignment. The role involves guiding students in advanced-level learning within their field of interest, developing personalized educational plans, and focusing classroom instruction on interpersonal communication and independent learning skills. A key component is the internship portion where students define and produce a meaningful project for their learning portfolio under the guidance of mentors and a field experience instructor. Students will also develop and apply skills gained in the seminar and evaluate their field experience. The teacher will be responsible for developing community and business partnerships, co-facilitating advisory committees, and traveling out of the building to work sites. The position is effective at the beginning of the 2026-27 school year.
