About The Position

This position is for a High School Summer School Teacher specializing in Science, for internal applicants only. The role involves preparing lessons, instructing students with diverse abilities, assessing learning, analyzing student data for instructional planning, fostering an engaging and respectful classroom, communicating with students, parents, and stakeholders, maintaining records, supervising students, contributing to school improvement, and engaging in professional learning. The summer school session runs from June 9th to June 30th, 2026, excluding June 19th, with 4 hours of instruction per day plus applicable prep time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education
• Required teaching certificate in related area(s) of instruction as required by the State of Minnesota
• Specific content knowledge, training or job experience required before appointment
• Successful student teaching
