High School Special Education Teacher
About The Position
Lumpkin County Schools is accepting applications for a High School Special Education Teacher at Lumpkin County High School for the 2026–2027 school year. The position starts January 4, 2027. The teacher will provide special education services to students with disabilities in various settings and through various service models. Special Education General Curriculum certification is required. The posting also lists Special Education Adapted Curriculum (P-12) and Special Education General Curriculum (P-12). Salary is based on the state salary schedule, commensurate with experience and certification, plus a local supplement. LCSS requires a criminal records check for all employees and participates in E-Verify.
