About The Position
This is a 1.0 FTE (full-time equivalent) position for a Social Studies Teacher at Mora High School. The role involves empowering 7th-12th grade students through dynamic social studies instruction, providing personalized support in group and individual settings, and creating a positive and motivating classroom environment. The teacher will develop and execute engaging lesson plans to promote student success and foster a collaborative learning environment with active student engagement in discussions and projects. The position is part of a strong 5-person department and will be located in a brand new classroom with modern furniture.
Requirements
- An appropriate Minnesota Teaching License in Social Studies.
- Must be self-directed, supportive, and collaborative to meet student and staff needs.
