About The Position

Sky Ranch Academy, located in Watkins, Colorado, opened in the fall of 2023 and serves students K-10. This position is for the 2026-27 School Year. Requirements

  • Possess an Associate Degree and/or 2-4 years’ experience in an Office or School-related administrative position.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from parents.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with Students, Parents, Principal and Teachers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update bookkeeping, including purchase orders, check requests, employee expense reports, tuition assistance, budget worksheets, and weekly bank deposits.
  • Complete purchase requisitions for supplies, books, and materials.
  • Order and maintain office and school staff supplies.
  • Manage inventory for grant-funded assets.
  • Collect and deposit lunch funds.
  • Process Free and Reduced Lunch Forms.
  • Oversee receptionist duties, ensuring a professional, customer-service-oriented, and supportive office environment for visitors, parents, and students.
  • Answer phones, direct inquiries, and distribute mail.
  • Ensure consistent and continuous front office operations throughout the full calendar year, including periods when school is not in session.
  • Strictly enforce security procedures by managing the visitor management system or parent sign-in system.
  • Accurately use the facilities work order system.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Compliance, including processing insurance claims.
  • Distribute medication and attend to incidental student needs.
  • Collect and enter Emergency Contact Forms for all students.
  • Support accurate daily attendance completion by all staff.
  • Complete attendance compliance documents for state reporting.
  • Manage student uniforms.
  • Complete correspondence, memoranda, and reports for the school Principal, and maintain the calendar and appointments for school leadership.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
