Requirements

• Must currently be enrolled as a high school Senior in Dorchester County.
• Submit a formal application.
• Provide one letter of reference from a teacher, counselor, or principal.
• Successfully complete the formal interview process with Dorchester County staff.

Responsibilities

• Be paired with a dedicated mentor within a host department.
• Receive professional guidance, daily support, and continuous performance feedback from a mentor.
• Gain a foundational understanding of municipal operations.
• Cultivate essential workplace skills.
• Be introduced to career opportunities within Dorchester County Government.
