About The Position

Qualified applicants should possess and/or have experience with the following: Commitment towards inclusion that benefits students socially, emotionally, and academically. Experience with a diverse population of students within a multicultural school/community. Strong positive interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with students, colleagues, and supervisors. Strong ability to work as a member of a professional learning community and multi-disciplinary team, including community-based partners (colleges, job sites, etc.). Flexibility in assignment, which may include supporting specialized programs and/or supporting students with IEPs in general education classrooms, special education classrooms, and in the community (which includes but is not limited to: at vocational sites and on college campuses- to support students with working on independent living skills, vocational skills, recreation/leisure skills, and social skills). Highly effective oral and written communication skills.
