About The Position

The Perry Local Schools desires to employ a math teacher in grades 7-12 with a qualified Ohio teaching license. The successful candidate will plan and provide daily math instruction to meet the differentiated needs of today's learners. The candidate will find weekly support with the math department (PLC) in order to continually improve instruction and assessment, and meet student learning needs. The successful candidate will possess strong relationship skills, develop a standards-based learning culture, and be able to implement research-based instructional strategies with a deep understanding of Ohio Learning Standards and Formative Instructional Practices.

Requirements

  • Valid certification/licensure required for working with high school students, which includes certification and/or licensure in: High School 7-12 Mathematics
  • Adolescent to Young Adult 7-12 Mathematics/Integrated Mathematics
  • Advocate for student-centered learning
