High School Math Tutor – LACHSA
About The Position
Tutor Partners is seeking experienced qualified high school math tutors to provide in-person tutoring services in partnership with the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) at its specialized high schools. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct academic impact with students during the school day. Requirements
- Associate’s degree or minimum of 24 college credits required
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to pass required background clearances (e.g., LiveScan/fingerprinting) as required by LACOE
- Reliable transportation to assigned site

Responsibilities
- Provide small-group and push-in math support aligned to student needs during the school day
- Track and report student progress
- Participate in instructional planning with teachers and school leaders, administration of assessments, and coordination meetings
- Collaborate with Tutor Partners staff and site personnel to coordinate scheduling and materials
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional learning environment
