About The Position

Avant Garde Academy is seeking a passionate and dynamic educator to serve our secondary math students. This team member will be responsible for planning and implementing daily lessons that provide students with appropriate academic and social instruction in an engaging way to motivate and spark student's curiosity. This team member must provide students with a caring environment and be a team player who will work collaboratively with the other grade-level teachers in a PLC model.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a fully accredited college or university.
• Must possess a valid Florida Teaching Certificate or have a Letter of Eligibility from Florida DOE that authorizes the holder to teach secondary school math, Geometry, Algebra, Probability, and Statistics.

Nice To Haves

• Recent teaching experience at the high school grade level is preferred.
