High School Teacher (2026-2027 School Year)
About The Position
Learn4Life High School - Charleston is seeking passionate teachers to work one-on-one with students, helping them grow in confidence and academics to graduate high school, regardless of obstacles. Our personalized learning model places students at the center, with staff unified to achieve the best outcomes. Teachers make a real difference through one-on-one or small group instruction to help students achieve individual goals. Teachers have a smaller caseload (typically 40 students), more support with more school counselors, free tutors, and supplementary labs. Lifelong Learning provides necessary tools and resources without personal financial investment. Ongoing professional learning, subsidized continuing education, and career advancement opportunities are available. Teachers have a close relationship with and are supported by their area supervisor/leadership. Holiday, vacation, and seasonal breaks are offered. POSITION SUMMARY: The Teacher Position will plan, organize, and implement an appropriate personalized instructional program in a learning environment that guides, supports, and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential, completion of diploma requirements, and post-secondary transition plan. This Position will collaborate with other Instructional Staff and school personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid South Carolina Teaching Certificate or enrollment in a State approved educator preparation program and student teaching
- Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to travel in performance of job duties is required
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and implement an appropriate personalized instructional program.

- Assist students with completion of diploma requirements.
- Support students with post-secondary transition plans.
