Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Previous teaching experience at the high school level is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging and effective lesson plans aligned with the school's math curriculum and standards. Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
• Instruction: Deliver dynamic and interactive math instruction to high school students. Foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and mathematical literacy among students. Provide clear explanations of mathematical concepts and facilitate hands-on learning experiences when applicable.
• Assessment and Feedback: Assess student learning through various methods, including quizzes, tests, and class participation. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and development. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents as needed.
• Classroom Management: Establish a positive classroom environment conducive to learning. Enforce school policies and procedures while promoting a culture of respect and cooperation among students.
• Professional Development: Stay informed about current trends and best practices in math education. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
