About The Position

Catapult Learning is hiring a Part-Time Intervention Specialist to deliver in-person reading and math intervention to 9–12 students in Houston-area private schools. This role is ideal for a certified teacher with classroom experience and a passion for student growth, offering a rewarding opportunity to support students who need it most. The position involves making a daily impact through small group teaching in reading and math.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Active teaching certification for Texas (required)
• Experience teaching both reading and math in a K–12 setting
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A commitment to helping all students grow and succeed

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person reading and math instruction to small groups of 9–12 students
• Use Catapult Learning’s evidence-based curriculum and lesson plans
• Customize instruction to meet student needs and skill levels
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment
• Track academic progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with school staff to support student success
