About The Position

Works under immediate supervision to perform clerical or para-professional work. Assists in conducting experiments and working on research problems in such fields as physiology, bacteriology, tissue culture, chemistry, and other related fields by performing basic, routine, and least complex procedures as prescribed by supervisor. Assembles and/or operates various laboratory equipment and apparatus. Records resulting data in accordance with established methods. Confers with supervisor concerning results obtained, and modifies procedures in accordance with instruction of supervisor. Performs a variety of duties to include, but not limited to, basic administrative and service related functions. Assists, receives training, and acquires working knowledge from various departments. May assist staff with day to day operations. May participate in basic to moderately complex projects as requested by supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in high school.
• Minimum 14 years of age.
• No prior experience.
