Requirements

  • Must commit to participating in the full eight -week program. (This means that you will not be able to take time off for summer school, vacations, or other commitments.)
  • Should have an anticipated average of at least 80%.
  • Must be enrolled in 11th and 12th grade Math and Science courses as of School year Fall 2026.
  • Proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities

  • Verify radio units; compile and document test plans, results, and inventories; contribute to team goals.
  • Support lab operations and organization: conduct inventories, maintain clear spreadsheets, build/organize cable racks, and propose efficient lab bench layouts while ensuring safety compliance.
  • Assist with RF/antenna/filter activities: learn and use measurement equipment (network/spectrum analyzers, power meters), perform equipment calibration and test setups, execute automated tests, and collect/analyze data; collaborate on technical reports and presentations.
  • Develop foundational technical skills in logic circuitry, basic soldering, and Python scripting; gain familiarity with lab tools and workflows.
  • Build tools/scripts (Python, Perl, Java) to support data collection and analysis; automate reporting and reduce manual workload in partnership with engineering teams.
  • Create interactive Power BI dashboards with filters, KPIs, trend analysis, and real-time monitoring to visualize radio performance, support troubleshooting, and enable lab reproduction activities.
  • Contribute to observability solution integration and testing; engage with relevant open-source technologies and collaborate in project/scrum teams.
  • Improve the software development environment with tools/scripts; learn the issue lifecycle from report to resolution; perform software/hardware integration testing in the lab.
  • Contribute to technical documentation team AI doc agent, automation, and content improvement initiatives.
  • Provides support for standards activities by maintaining web servers and developing/troubleshooting automation tools and integration scripts.
  • Design and implement software features using C++ (preferred) or Python, applying agentic coding techniques to build and refine autonomous, task-driven components

Benefits
