About The Position

This position involves assisting the Head Varsity Soccer Coach in all aspects of managing the High School Girls Soccer program. The role focuses on supporting practice planning, game day operations, and fostering a positive team culture aligned with the academy's mission.

Requirements

• Experience in soccer coaching or playing at a high level.
• Knowledge of soccer rules, strategies, and techniques.
• Ability to guide student-athletes in sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic, personal responsibility, and competitiveness.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with athletes, coaches, parents, and the community.
• Commitment to maintaining professionalism and ethical behavior.
• Understanding and support of a Christ-centered environment and team culture of service.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as an assistant coach.
• Familiarity with Lipscomb Academy's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and organization of Varsity practices.
• Assist with lining of the field and pre-game setup.
• Assist during all varsity games, home and away.
• Guide student-athletes in learning appropriate sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic, personal responsibility, and competitiveness.
• Coordinate and direct team managers with pre and post-game responsibilities.
• Maintain the highest order of professionalism and display the highest level of ethical and moral behavior at all times, including building positive relationships with athletes, coaches, parents, and the community.
• Help create a Christ-centered environment and team culture of service to others that reflects the Lipscomb Academy Mission Statement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dir of Soccer.
