About The Position

The High School Girls Soccer Varsity Assistant Coach will assist in the planning and organization of varsity practices, field setup, and game support. This role involves guiding student-athletes in sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic, personal responsibility, and competitiveness. The assistant coach will also coordinate team managers, maintain professionalism and ethical behavior, and contribute to a Christ-centered environment that reflects the Lipscomb Academy Mission Statement. Other duties may be assigned by the Director of Soccer.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and organization of Varsity practices
• Assist with lining of field and pre-game setup
• Assist during all varsity games, home and away
• Guide student-athletes in learning appropriate sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic, personal responsibility, and competitiveness
• Coordinate and direct team managers with pre and post game responsibilities
• Maintain the highest order of professionalism and display the highest level of ethical and moral behavior at all times
• Build positive relationships with athletes, coaches, parents, and the community
• Help create a Christ-centered environment and team culture of service to others that reflects the Lipscomb Academy Mission Statement
• Other duties as assigned by the Dir of Soccer
